Planning the perfect bathroom

I’ve spent much of today planning out a dream bathroom – though not for me unfortunately!

At 4m x 3.5m, it’s size affords me the luxury of including great features with plenty of space to move around.

One of the most useful tools available to help you plan out a bathroom is the Reece Bathroom Planner. You simply nominate the size of your bathroom then add in all the products you require from their range – everything from baths and basins to towel rails and shower grates.

Many designers will tell you that planning a bathroom is more difficult than a kitchen and I’d agree! Trying to fit multiple elements into a space (that’s often not as big as you’d like it to be!) whilst still making it stylish and easy to move around can be quite a challenge. Bathroom planning is definitely one area where using the skills of a designer can really pay dividends in ensuring your space works.

If you’re keen to try out the Reece Bathroom Planner, I’d suggest starting with a trip to a Reece showroom to narrow down your selection of products – you’ll waste far less time playing around with the layout if you have a headstart on which taps, basins, showers etc… you’d like to include.

And whilst you may not find it on the Reece website, don’t forget to add in one fantastic feature to make your bathroom yours.

Here are a few pics to get you inspired!
